First Minister's Reading Challenge Celebration 2023

 

 

Our First Minister's Reading Challenge Celebration 2023 will take place on Monday 12 June in Glasgow, with exciting reading activities and a fantastic programme of authors, exciting reading activities and a celebration marketplace. The event is free for all participating First Minister's Challenge organisations, suitable for pupils from P1 to P7.

Our line-up of authors includes:

  • Pamela Butchart - Best-selling Scottish author of favourites such as There's A Beast in the Basement
  • Benjamin Dean – Award-winning journalist and author of Me, My Dad and The End of the Rainbow and The Secret Sunshine Project
  • Meg McLaren – Winner of the Scottish Bookbug Picture Book Prize and author of Wee Unicorn
  • Simon Lamb – Scots poet and Scriever at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum
  • Macastory – Interactive storytellers extraordinaire, taking us on a musical journey through the magic of worlds and stories
First Minister's Reading Challenge celebration 2023 with live music, storytelling, author jamboree, celebration marketplace, Waterstones booksellers, mini games and craft activities, and more to be announced. . .!
