Participation data

In order to track and evaluate participation in the First Minister’s Reading Challenge we will share participation information with key stakeholders, including the Scottish Government and Local Authorities. This may include your name and class details. Your personal contact details will not be shared without your express permission.

If you are a teacher your class information will be available to your school’s Key Contact.

Statistical data

We gather certain information from our website, such as numbers and frequency of visitors to the site and its pages and we only use this information in aggregate form, to determine how visitors use specific areas and to help us to improve our website’s operation and appeal.  No personal information about individual users or visitors is gathered in this process.

Email

By signing up to the First Minister’s Reading Challenge you agree to receive emails directly related to your account and your participation. We will not send you any further information unless you sign up to our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the e-newsletter at any time.

Changing and removing your information

You can update the information about your account on your account page.

If you need to update any information about your account, class or school, please contact us.
